FAQs

What Option would you recommend?

It really depends on the needs of your site. If your team is chronically struggling with communication and conflict, or if you have high staff turnover, I would recommend a 3 year partnership. Studies show that it takes at least 3 years to implement any kind of meaningful within a program. If you are just looking for a tune up or have enough people on your team with influence who are trained and/or highly skilled in effective communication and conflict resolution, the 1 year partnership may be enough. If your team is struggling with a particular issue that needs to be addressed right away, an a la carte option might be the most helpful. I am also happy to discuss an option that is longer than 3 years.

What will the day to day look like?

To get a better understanding of what my work looks like, please book a free consultation. I would be happy to show you a detailed description of my process and what you can expect. Don’t like what you see or have other ideas? Let’s see if we can co-create a process that we’re both comfortable with.

What is the difference between a consultant and a coach and which one are you?

In a nutshell, the difference between a consultant and coach is that a consultant has specific expertise on a subject, and will give you tools, methods and processes to do your work more effectively. A coach on the other hand is someone who will guide you to discover the answers on your own. I actually consult and coach, depending on where we are in the process together. For example, as I’m getting to know you and helping you to reflect, I am acting more as a coach. At other points in the process, I will be giving you tools to use after our partnership has come to an end, so you can continue to build and maintain healthy relationships in your workplace.

Why does my worksite need a conflict resolution consultant or a coach?

Simply put, a consultant or coach is able to hold the birds eye view of a workplace ecosystem and is removed from the complicated relationship dynamics that are present. I occupy neutral, unbiased territory so that I can support you and your team in moving forward in a way that is acceptable to everyone, and is free of workplace politics.
